Update Customer Information

To view customer information, use the pop-up profile located on most customer-related pages or the "Prof" link in the Focus menu.

To update customer information, put the customer In Focus from the FrontDesk tab and use the View/Update option.

Because customer information can be quite sensitive, customer profiles and some customer updated pages are SSL encrypted. This means that information such as a customer's social security number is not sent across the Internet in plain text. You can always tell if a page is encrypted by right-clicking on the page, selecting Properties, and checking that the connection is SSL and that the address begins with "https."

The customer's personal information maintained in the online system is quite extensive and is maintained in sections of the customer record. Possible sections include:

Some of the data is visible to or can be updated by customers from their login. Other information can only be changed by staff members (e.g. Ok to Solo). Information that can not be updated by customers is highlighted in the customer record.

Information recorded is discretionary and checked on schedule and/or dispatch as determined in your Qualification and Limitation Parameters. System Administrators must set which information must be entered or is checked.
