Connect Tab

The tools available on the Connect Tab provide for communication with your staff and customers. The options that appear on the Connect Tab are dependent upon being enabled in Features & Options. The Connect Tab functions are available to Manager level users and higher, and in some cases can be made available to Staff level users as well. 

The possible Connect Tab menu options are:

• Reading
• Set Please Read

  Allows a Please Read message to be added to the Message Center for ALL system users -- staff and customers. 

  Can be set by Staff level users if enabled in the Staff Parameters.

• Set Must Read

  Allows a Must Read message to be added to the Message Center for all staff users. 

Can be set by Staff level users if enabled in the Staff Parameters.

• Menus
• News & Messages

  Allows for the entry of News items, Bulletin Board items, and Calendar of Events items. These items appear on the system Message Center for all users.

  Can be set by Staff level users if enabled in the Staff Parameters.

• Marketing

  Provides access to the Marketing/Prospects menu, where prospects can be added, updated, listed, and e-mails sent. 

  Never available to Staff level users.

• Communications
• Set Status Board

  Provides access to set the flight status message which displays on the Status Bar in the footer of the system for Staff users. The message can also be displayed in the Message Center for customers. 

  Can be set by Staff level users if enabled in the Staff Parameters.

• Broadcast E-Mail

  Allows for sending an email to every user in your database, or e-mail to staff only. 

  Never available to Staff level users.

• Customer Feedback

  Customer Feedback includes two options: Customer Online Inquiries and Customer Online Surveys. 

  Online Inquiries operate similar to MyFBO.com Support Requests and Responses by allowing your customers to enter an inquiry for you from their Home Tab. 

  Online Surveys allow you to obtain important feedback from your customers via custom surveys.

  The Customer Feedback menu is not available to Staff level users, but Staff level users can respond to waiting customer inquiries if enabled in the Customer Feedback Parameters.
