Rebate Shortcuts

Rebates are different from the per hour price reductions that can be applied with pre-payments, club rates, levels, etc. Those items result in automatic pricing during receipt preparation based on various 'flags' in the customer record. Rebates are actually discount line items that can be applied for any customer during receipt preparation.  

To use Rebate Shortcuts, "Rebate Processing" must first be enabled in the Receipt Preparation Parameters. Once enabled, the shortcuts are defined in the Rebate Shortcuts Parameters. These parameters can be set by an Administrator from the Admin Tab / Parameters and Settings menu.

There are 9 Rebate Shortcuts available. In the Rebate Shortcuts Parameters, simply enter a description/name for the rebate and set a percent off for each shortcut. The rebate can be set to apply to:
