Reservation Settings Parameters
There are a number of reservation settings that should be reviewed and set to match the needs of your operation. The various Reservation Settings Parameters can be set by an Administrator from the Admin Tab / Parameters and Settings Menu.

Purge Canceled / unused reservations after ? days
Default number of weeks in batch schedulerAmount of time that expired or unused reservations are maintained in the system. After this number of days the expired reservation is deleted permanently. This means that it can not be retrieved.
To maintain a permanent record of a customer's cancellations, a cancellation transaction MUST be created. For complete information on this process, please read Cancellation Charges and Managing Cancellations.
The Batch Scheduling Option is designed for subscribers who wish to make a large number of reservations for a single customer/member at one time. This is ideal for university/college programs where a student will fly at the same time every week for a known number of weeks.
Please read Duplicate / Batch Scheduling for more information.
Enable program scheduler
The Program Scheduler allows for multiple reservations with the flexibility of selecting aircraft by type or tail number, preferred and alternate times, and the inclusion of a selected curriculum.
Please read Duplicate / Batch Scheduling for more information.
Overlapping Reservations for one Customer
If set to allowed, an individual could have overlapping reservations. This is not recommended, but this flexibility may be helpful to flight schools batch scheduling students for weeks at a time.
Require estimated tach / air time for schedule durations greater than ? hours
This option is important because reservation length is one of the variables used by the system to estimate maintenance coming due. Longer reservations without estimated tach / air time can greatly affect these estimates.
Allow multi-day staff-only schedule
This option is available pilot services operations.
Allow Reservations to be marked as dual
This option is only effective for operations without Staff Instructors.
Allow non-staff instructors / examiners
If enabled, when an instructional reservation is created without a staff instructor attached, a non-staff instructor can be added via the Reservation Details.
Show Grades on Schedule Pages
Subscribers may optionally limit the aircraft that an instructor / flight staff is permitted to fly and block reservations and dispatching when those permissions are violated. This is done by defining and assigning "grades required" to aircraft and specifying "grades held" for flight staff.
Allow time to be held open on schedulePlease read Grade Limitations for more information.
Allows blocking of aircraft time pending reassignment or standby processing.
Please read About the Standby Option for more information.
Allow pre-flight data recording
If enabled, pilots can be required to verify that they checked weather and NOTAMS prior to flight.
Allow flexible base locations
For subscribers with multiple locations, this option allows staff to schedule aircraft for use at any / all locations, regardless of the aircraft base location. This method does not take into account the time needed to move the aircraft from one location to another, so use of this option requires a sharp dispatcher who can manage this in real time.
This option is not compatible with customer/member self-scheduling. Flexible base scheduling assumes that the aircraft will be brought to the customer's base location. Customer self-scheduling assumes that the customer will go to the base location for the aircraft.
Reservations appear on Review page how many minutes before flights
This setting controls when pending reservations appear on the Review Tab as available for dispatch.
Late check-in is how many minutes after scheduled return
When check-in is late, a reminder flasher appears in the footer of the system and the flight is highlighted as late on the Review Tab.
