Look & Feel Overview

The Look and Feel Parameters allow subscribers to customize the appearance of their MyFBO.com system. These settings are available from the Admin Tab to those with Junior or Senior Administrator user access levels. 

Some Look and Feel settings require knowledge of HTML, CSS, web colors, and web graphics. Your webmaster or web site developer can provide assistance in these areas. (MyFBO.com does not provide these services.) With their assistance, it is possible to have your MyFBO.com system branded with your colors, logos, etc., to match your company web site. 

The Look and Feel Parameters are listed below, and more detailed information is available by clicking on any link.

• Theme

  A theme is a predefined set of background, color, and navigation settings. Themes are available with solid color backgrounds, or you may select a theme with an image background. This is the easiest way to change the overall look and feel of your system.

• Background

  A custom background image can be applied and you can designate the sections of the MyFBO work window where it will appear.

• System Colors

  Colors can be set for various components of the system, including different text elements.

• Navigation

  System navigation default can be set to either the Ribbon Menu or Flyover Menus, and options can be set regarding inclusion of icons in the menus. These options allow you to optimize for the use of touch screen devices.

• Brand

  Brand your system with your custom logo and contact information.

Look and Feel Parameters

There are a few important points to remember when making Look and Feel changes. 

• Pay special attention to onscreen and popup warnings. Some actions, like changing a theme, will overwrite previous settings. 
• Depending on the changes being made, all users currently logged into your system may be immediately forced to log out. It can be disruptive for a staff user to suddenly be forced to log out and then log back in faced with a new menu system. For this reason, we highly recommend that you make these type of changes when it's not busy.
• If you want to explore the Look and Feel options without affecting your live system, you should Test it in the Sandbox!
