Sandbox

On occasion, MyFBO subscribers request the ability to test new features or provide employee training without impacting their �live� online system. To accommodate this request, MyFBO has a �sandbox� server where subscribers can access a duplicate test copy of their system.

A Senior Administrator can create a copy of your live database in the sandbox at any time from the Admin Tab / Sandbox Set-up option. This sandbox
copy is then available to all system users.

The sandbox is intended for short term testing only, and thus has some limitations:

• Credit card processing is simulated in the sandbox.
• There is no support for pictures or documents in the sandbox.
• No e-mail is sent from the sandbox.
• While new staff or customers / members can be created in the sandbox, they will not be able to log in.
• Sometimes, MyFBO may use the sandbox to answer a support request you have submitted. This could overwrite or change your sandbox database.
• The MyFBO software team may make database or software updates that invalidate your sandbox copy. A fresh copy of your live database will fix this.
• Test databases in the sandbox will be automatically deleted after 14 days.
• Systems running in the sandbox include a warning in the Message Center, and the word �Sandbox� in both the header and footer.
• Caution: It is impossible to copy data or parameters from the sandbox back to your production system. Therefore, please do not enter data you want to retain.

Once the Senior Administrator creates a sandbox system, the link or URL to the sandbox system can be shared with other users. You do not have to be logged into your live MyFBO system in order to log into the sandbox; in fact, to avoid confusion, it is not recommended. Use the same login name and password that you use in your live MyFBO system is to log into the sandbox system.
