Future Service Items

The Future Service Items  option is available from the Manage tab / Service Order menu. Managers, mechanics, and others who have been granted access can use this option to list by date due or tail number future service work coming due.

  1. Click the Manage tab.
  2. Click Service Orders.
  3. Scroll down to the Future Service Items option, and select to see the report sorted either by date order or tail number. Click Go.

The data contained in this report comes from mechanics / managers entering future work items on the service order before closing it. This is a very simple process of just entering the item description and due date.

This report is designed primarily as a marketing tool, allowing you to solicit future work from previous customers. Buttons on the report allow you to open the profile for the customer so you have their contact information quickly at hand. You can also remove an item from the report so it is no longer tracked.
