Delete Service Order

Though not a recommended practice, on occasion it may be necessary to cancel or delete a service order. Before the Cancel Service Order option will appear, a number of requirements must be met.

Service order must be In Progress. If the service order is closed, see Reopening a Service Order.
All labor must be deleted from the service order.
All parts and other charges must be deleted from the service order.
The status of each discrepancy on the service order must be either No Contact, Deferred, or Awaiting Parts.

Once the above requirements are met, the Cancel Service Order button will appear at the bottom of the service order as shown below.
