Fuel Management Overview

MyFBO Fuel Management makes it possible to track, transfer, disburse, and sell fuel, and is fully integrated with the other features and options of MyFBO. Generally fuel is managed in two different ways depending upon your operation.

The first way is Basic Fuel Management. This is for companies that are not in the business of selling fuel or small FBOs that do not have more than one type of fuel and one tank. Examples include:

• School and Clubs that only track fuel going into their airplanes and/or how much fuel their aircraft use.
• Operators that rent aircraft "wet" and reimburse up to a certain amount of external fuel purchases.
• Operators that have one type of fuel but do not sell to transients. The fuel tank (ground tank / truck) is only used to fuel their own aircraft.
• Schools and other operators that manage aircraft or have leasebacks.

Detailed Fuel Management is used by operators that sell or disburse fuel from multiple tanks, such as FBOs. The system can track, transfer, disburse, and sell fuel from up to 99 different tanks at any number of locations, and each location can have up to 9 different fuel types. With the Detailed Fuel Management option you can:

• Manage multiple fuel types and tanks at multiple locations
• Track fuel inventory on hand by tank/truck
• Track all the meter readings for every transaction for each tank/truck
• Track fuel transfers from one tank/truck to another
• Receive delivered fuel
• Calibrate tanks
• Account for sumped fuel
• Account for recirculated fuel
• Account for Meter / Hose / Nozzle Testing with Off-Site Recycling    
• Track fuel utilization by aircraft
• Sell fuel from the front desk or from the ramp
• Access numerous fuel management reports
• Provide detailed reports to your fuel customers
• Import SiteMinder Self-Serve transactions into your MyFBO system
• Track commingled fuel, either sold in bulk for a special per gallon rate or stored for an into plane fee
