Refuel Internal Aircraft

If your operation refuels aircraft included in your MyFBO system as resources, whether from your organization's tanks or with fuel purchased elsewhere, this can be tracked using the Resource Refuel feature. This allows tracking of fuel placed in company owned aircraft, and leaseback or managed aircraft. Resource refueling is accomplished from different menu locations based on the staff user level in the system:

Ground Level Staff - Manage Tab / Resource Refuel
Regular Staff Level - Manage Tab / Resource Refuel
Manager Level Staff - Manage Tab / Fuel Management

Creating a Refuel Record

Navigate to Resource Refueling.
Select the aircraft to refuel and continue.
The next step is to either enter a refueling record for fuel from company tanks (the default), or click the link to enter fuel not from an internal (company) tank.
Enter all the appropriate data and select the Enter button to complete the refueling record. Note that oil usage can also be tracked through the refueling record.

In the screen shot above, notice the option to post the record to the previous month of business, in this case February 2011. If your organization purchases all fuel retail, and you do not record these fuelings daily, but instead wait until you receive a statement from your fuel vendor, it's important to use the Date and Post options appropriately. This is particularly crucial for subscribers using MyFBO monthly accounting options for leaseback aircraft.

Note: If an internal aircraft does not appear on the dropdown selector, it is because a fuel type has not been set for that aircraft. This is accomplished by Manager level staff or higher from the Manage Tab:

Select the Manage Tab.
Select Resource Management.
Scroll to the option Change ALL Resource.
From the drop down, select Data: Aircraft Information.
Set the fuel type for each aircraft and Update.
