Resource data for an individual resource can be entered, reviewed, and updated by a manager from the Manage Tab / Resource Management menu using the Change Resource Data option.

To change data for a resource, select the resource from the drop down box next to Change Resource Data for. This opens the "Resource Data Selection" screen. Different sections of the resource record are accessed from options listed on the Resource Data Selection screen.

Description / Location

The Description / Location information for a resource is initially entered through the process of adding a new resource to your MyFBO system. For organizations operating from a single location, there is rarely a need to change this information. Organizations operating multiple locations may use the Description / Location screen to relocate an aircraft or flight staff to another location, or to make flight staff available at all (Any) locations.

Availability Dates

Availability Dates for a resource are initially entered through the process of adding a new resource to your MyFBO system. This information is important for two reasons.

  1. A resource must have a First Date Available to be available for scheduling.
  2. A resource with a Not Available After date becomes inactive, which means it is not available for scheduling. MyFBO does not charge a fee for inactive resources, but all the data linked to inactive resources remains in the system for future retrieval.
