Managing Email Accounts - My Mail Box Manager

MyFBO hosting plans allow subscribers to manage their own company email accounts. Through MyMailboxManager, system administrators can set up mailboxes needed for their operations. MyMailboxManager is a web based management tool that allows the administrator to set up and control individual mailboxes. MyMailboxManager is user friendly and has simple step-by-step instructions.

General

System administrators can navigate to MyMailboxManager by holding your mouse over the Admin tab and selecting Subscription Management. On the Subscription Management Menu click the �Postmaster� link to open MyMailboxManager. 

Mailboxes are set up and managed by using the menu on the left hand side of MyMailboxManager. Options include:

Create a New Mailbox

You can create new mailboxes by clicking "Create New Mailbox" in left menu bar of MyMailboxManager.  The "Create New Mailbox" screen will open. Enter the e-mail you are setting up, any aliases (usually none), the full name of the person you are setting up email for (for general addresses enter company name), and enter and re-enter the initial password. Note that once individual users login they will be able to modify their own passwords.

Manage Mailboxes

To manage mailboxes click "Mailboxes Manager" in left menu bar of MyMailboxManager. This will display a list of email boxes currently set up. To manage a mailbox, click the link for the mailbox you wish to manage. Once you have selected a mailbox, the following menu tabs appear at the top of the page:

Be sure to pay attention to the following options on the General tab:

Limit each mailbox to avoid exceeding your mail storage limitations (50MB recommended).

(Basic plans include total storage of 500MB for ALL email accounts combined. Exceeding your storage limit can increase your costs significantly.)

If you use this option to forward your email to another email address, you must use the option below to avoid exceeding your storage limits on the mail server.

User Forgets Password

If a user forgets their password, it can be reset on the General tab by simply typing in a new password / password confirmation. 

Delete a Mailbox

To delete a mailbox, click Mailboxes Manager in left menu bar of MyMailboxManager. This will display a list of email boxes currently set up. Click the checkbox next to the appropriate mailbox and then scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the delete button.
