Hours and Days of Operation

Some of the most basic pieces of information about your business are your Hours and Days of Operation. These are initially entered as part of the online setup process. They should be reviewed and revised if needed. These settings are important because they are the first layer in controlling scheduling availability. Hours and Days of Operation are set by an Administrator from the Parameters and Settings menu. Possible settings include:

If your company operates multiple locations, an additional option will appear allowing Hours and Days of Operation to be set for each location.

Setting a day as a holiday prevents customers from beginning or ending a reservation on that day. However, if you offer multi-day scheduling by customers, a customer can span a holiday with a multi-day reservation.

Setting a holiday also prevents staff from beginning a reservation on that day from either the check-box scheduler or the daily detail ("flights today") display. However, manager-level users and above may book on holidays by using the click-n-drag scheduling display.

For users of the Batch or Program schedulers, holidays are grayed-out, and the check-boxes for holidays are unchecked. However, reservations can be made by all levels of staff by checking the boxes in either of these displays.
