Morning After Dispatch & Check-in | Back Forward Print this topic |
Often scheduled flights are made after standard hours of operations, resulting in them not being dispatched or checked in on the same day as the actual flight. If you have a flight on the Review tab/Review Dispatch Status page that actually went out and back the day before and missed the dispatch/check-in process, there is a proper way to handle this.
If the flight is still in the "Pending Flights and Unused Reservations" section of the page:
Go to the "Action" box at the right of the reservation line and click the blue down arrow button to get other options.
Choose the option to "Check In w/o Dispatch".
Click the "Go" button.
On the resulting check in form, pay special attention to the Return Date and Return Time options. You need to put in the proper return date and time so the customer will not be charged an overnight rate or a special fee for having the aircraft 24 hours.
Also pay special attention to the Hobbs and Tach readings to make sure they are correct. If not, you can revise them.
If the flight is in the "Flights / Work In Progress" section of the page, this means it got dispatched but not checked in.
Go to the "Action" box at the right of the reservation line and make sure it reads "Check In".
Click the "Go" button.
On the resulting check in form, pay special attention to the Return Date and Return Time options. You need to put in the proper return date and time so the customer will not be charged an overnight rate or a special fee for having the aircraft 24 hours.
